在國外轉機等待時，能做的事

假設等待轉機時間只有一小時，你會做什麼？

首先，要先確認自己知道怎麼到達你要去的登機門。不確定的話，要求救喔！可以用上課教的英語工具，像「ChatGPT」, 或「口譯翻譯app」詢問機場職員，善用手機的app翻譯功能，給對方「看」或「聽」。

1. Confirm Your Departure Details 確認出發資訊

Go to the flight information board（航班資訊看板） and check your gate（登機門） and boarding time（登機時間）.

對話範例:

 “Excuse me, can you confirm my gate for flight [number] to England?”

「不好意思，可以幫我確認一下飛往英國的 [航班號碼] 登機門在哪裡？」

已經知道確切位置之後，時間還很多的話，就可以到附近逛逛。不過還是待在同一個航廈比較保險，這樣如果有重要廣播，至少還有機會聽得到。而且真的有狀況，也才不會覺得太趕。

2. Stay Close to Your Gate 靠近登機門活動

Even if you want to explore, stay in the same terminal（同一航廈） to avoid missing announcements.

這段時間也可以使用機場網路，收信或聯絡家人。

Use airport Wi-Fi to check emails or contact family.

3. Quick Refresh and Recharge

快速休息與充電

登機前先上個洗手間吧！

Use the restroom（洗手間） before boarding.

如果有手機充電站，可以順便讓您的手機充一下電。

Find a charging station（充電站） to top up your phone battery.

4. Light Meal or Drink

簡單用餐或喝水

杜拜機場有很多可以買到咖啡外帶的地方。

In Dubai Airport, there are many grab-and-go cafés（即取即走咖啡廳）.

例句：

中文：「請給我一份三明治和水外帶。」

5. Souvenir or Quick Shop

杜拜免稅商店也可買到杜拜當地有名的椰棗、巧克力跟香水，大家依自己需求購買吧！

Dubai Duty Free is famous for dates（椰棗）、chocolates（巧克力）、and perfumes（香水）.

注意：也要把購物所花的時間，加到回登機門的時間，才不會到時候要用跑的、來不及登機。

But remember: Shopping time = walking time back to gate（購物時間等於回登機門的路程時間）。

6. Final Boarding Check 最後登機檢查

所以距離登機時間最好預留20-30分，若評估會太趕，就放棄免稅店吧！能登上轉機的飛機才是最重要的！

Be at the gate at least 20–30 minutes before departure（起飛前 20–30 分鐘到登機門）.

護照跟登機證要隨時檢查是否都在。乾脆拿在手上吧！
